Further Update

Further to the initial post below, some more details of the trip:

Dates – 13 – 28 Jun 09

Mileage – Approx 4400, so 200 – 400 miles daily

Route – Basically, we are following the coast in a clockwise direction, we’ve got a detailed itinerary largely sorted, but for security reasons I’ll not detail it exactly. I’ll try and put up some rough route-maps up soon.

Accommodation – We’ll make use of what service accommodation we can, but for the most part it’ll be tents.

Current Support – Steve has been really active in getting us some support, GS Motorcycle tyres are doing us a great deal on fresh tyres for the trip (http://www.gsmotorcycletyres.com/) This mobile tyre fitting company is run by Gary Beresford, who is a top bloke who offers a great service. Also he’s got some further support from other companies, but I’ll not steal his thunder!

Fundraising – As mentioned below, we’re doing this trip as a means of raising money for the Help for Heroes charity, we’re using the Justgiving website to collect money.
